I'm new to Maileg. Where should I start my collection?
I could give several answers to this, but you should definitely start with just one mouse (and if you have one, more will follow, I'm sure!). To put the mouse to bed, you can choose one of the big sisters that come in a matchbox, complete with a mattress, blanket, and pillow. Then you have a ready-made bed to tuck your mouse into at night. If you're looking for a collection of furniture to furnish your dollhouse, it's best to start with a bed, perhaps a table and chairs, and a cooking set.

What does My and Micro mean?
Maileg categorizes its mice and smaller rabbits into two sizes: My and Micro. "My" refers to My rabbits and baby mice, such as sleeping/awake mice, twins, and triplets. "Micro" is the name given to the bigger siblings Mouse and Micro rabbits and bunnies. Furniture and accessories are also categorized into My and Micro sizes. (However, there is also larger furniture suitable for size 1 rabbits and the Teddy family.) Some furniture is available in both My and Micro sizes. These include playpens, high chairs, and bouncers. For example, there is a My size playpen (suitable for baby mice and My rabbits) and a Micro size playpen (suitable for sibling mice and Micro rabbits).

The name Maileg is formed by the surname of Maileg's founder, Dorthe Mailil, combined with the word 'leg', the Danish word for game.
Why can't I find a Maileg item I've seen before?
One of the great things about Maileg is that they're always innovating and updating their product range. Every year, they introduce new mice, new furniture, and new fabrics. Some products, like the Princess and the Pea, the Grandparents, and Mom and Dad in a Cigar Box, remain in the collection permanently but are redesigned each season with new colors and fabrics. Other items, like the circus collection, are discontinued after a few seasons and become coveted collector's items.
What age group is Maileg suitable for?
Maileg tests their toys according to two standards, EN-71 (Europe) and ASTM 963 (US).
In general, Maileg mice, furniture and accessories are suitable from the age of 3 years.
