The Del Prado dollhouse is going well. I've been crafting a lot lately, I really love it. I've also taken lots of photos, most of which I've posted on Instagram. Lately, I've been constantly torn between my dollhouse hobby and the webshop. November and December were quite busy: with the webshop and with the transition to my new job. Both were very positive developments, but they made me realize two things: I missed crafting, and I missed writing about crafting. So I started a new dollhouse project; see also the previous blog post , "New project: Renovating the Del Prado dollhouse." Then I realized I was constantly debating whether or not to post my crafting hobbies on Skattich's social media pages: Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook. So I created a new Instagram page, @cutetinyhouse, where I post my dollhouse progress and the furniture and accessories I make. I'm getting really nice reactions, and that motivates me. It also made me decide that I want to do more with dollhouses through the webshop. I'm currently working on how and what, but I think it will be homemade items. I'm thinking of beds with beautiful bedding, cribs with a house frame above them, teepees (and a bit smaller than the one I've shown here , the "Mini Wigwam" ), clothes racks, cushions, etc. I'm currently working on an idea for a mini Miffy lamp; it's so cute! Everything is in 1:12 scale, the standard dollhouse scale. The dollhouse genre I really like is the modern dollhouse, usually labeled "Moderndollshouse/moderndollhouse" on Instagram. I'll show you some beautiful pictures soon. They're mainly houses with an interior you'd love to live in yourself. From now on, I'll mainly blog about DIY projects, dollhouse interiors, and miniatures.
But enough about me and Skattich now, I'd really like to show you what the Del Prado dollhouse looks like at the moment.

The kitchen is completely finished. I'll write a report about it next time, including tips and links. Here's a sneak peek.

Then I looked at it and I thought it was quite busy, so I removed some things.

Next time I'll share how I made it with links to some really cool sites.
Until then,
greetings Carolien
