And what could be more fun than giving such a family their own wardrobe? In this expansion, you will find various patterns for mini clothing, specially designed for the Pluimstaart Family. You can mix and match to your heart's content and give your squirrels their own unique style.

What fabrics do you need?

For the squirrels

You can use materials such as cotton, linen, flannel, or velvet. For the body, a fabric with a weight of approximately 160–180 g/m² works best. Preferably choose a fabric that does not fray too much; 100% linen is therefore less suitable.

For the tail, you can use faux fur, but the same fabric as the body works just as well.

For the mini clothing

Many fabrics are suitable for mini clothing, such as cotton, jersey, velour, and muslin. The instructions will always indicate which fabrics are suitable for the specific garment.

Tip: upcycle! Above all, use what you already have. Fabric scraps, old clothing, and textiles from the thrift store are ideal for giving your squirrels and their clothes a unique look. Ribbons and lace also come in handy. In doubt about a fabric? Try it out with a scrap piece first.
