Today I finished the clothes horse for the dollhouse. Sometimes I have so many unfinished things lying around that I don't know where to start. So when I finished the two bags I ordered (yes, actually sold two bags!?), I started on the clothes horse that had been there for a while. They used to have those wooden clothes horses from Maileg, but I think they were a bit larger. Now they've changed everything from wood to metal, and I've kept the size of the metal horse: 15 cm high, 18 cm long, and 15 cm wide. I sawed everything and drilled the holes myself... the slats are only 4 x 6 mm, so sawing went fine, but the drilling had to be very precise. It's not perfectly straight here and there, so... My husband put the sides together and attached the slats to the top. When I wanted to thread the cotton thread through, I realized the holes were actually on the wrong side. They should have been on the front and not on top, but oh well. The rack has been given a nice green coat of paint and...another dollhouse accessory is finished!
