Once upon a time….
Isn't it beautiful, this handmade pumpkin carriage? A while ago, I introduced this handmade carriage, and several have already found their own homes! There are many questions about the carriage, so I created a blog post about it.
The carriage you see in the photo is just an example, as I make them in various colors, but always in the "Skattich" style. Followers on Instagram have already seen the carriage in vintage pink, glitter cream, vintage green, and off-white. The interior and benches also vary in color. It's just what I'm in the mood for.
Details
The pumpkin carriage is handmade from the finest cotton fabrics and filled with wool, which keeps it nicely plump. The carriage's floor consists of a fabric-covered wooden plank. The seats are removable, and there's an elastic band underneath the carriage to hold the wheel studs in place. These can also be easily removed. The wheels are made of wood. The carriage can also be driven. The entire carriage is approximately 26 cm high x 22 cm wide x 21 cm deep. The price of the pumpkin carriage is €85.00 (prices may vary depending on the material).
This item has not been tested for safety as a toy. It is handmade, and the wheels are fragile, making it unsuitable for very young children. Careful play is recommended. The pumpkin carriage does not include mice.
There's a lot of demand for the pumpkin carriage, but unfortunately, making it takes a lot of time, so I can't make many in a week. That's why I'm trying to figure out the best way to offer them. I did it through Instagram for a while, but now I'm going back to the webshop. A waiting list is stressful, so I'm not going to start that.
June 20, 2024 update: Unfortunately, I'm currently unable to make new pumpkin carriages, and I can't say exactly when I'll be able to make them again. I'd like to refer you to the pumpkin carriage pattern with detailed instructions . I'm sure you can make a beautiful one yourself with it! The pattern is currently temporarily reduced in price.

The benches can be removed and there is elastic under the carriage to hold the spokes of the wheels. So these can also be taken off very easily. The wheels are made of wood. The total carriage is about 26 cm high x 22 cm wide and 21 cm deep. The price of the pumpkin carriage is €85.00 (depending on the material, the price may vary)
