Okay, first, let's come up with a plan. The little dollhouse my nephew once received from my parents is nice...but it could be better! It's a gift for my daughter in December. She'll be 18 months old then, and she already loves everything about dolls, big or small. So she'll probably be thrilled with this. Perhaps it would be nice to decorate the house in the spirit of the winter months...cozy lights, woolen blankets and rugs... I also want everything to be nice and light: natural tones, white, and a few pastels here and there. 
And now about the inhabitants: I recently came across some really cute little figures on Pinterest : Sonny Angels . They're angels, about 7 cm tall. They're very simple, so they're perfect for 1.5-year-old girls (of course, there's a warning, but with supervision, I think they should be fine). There's a plan behind the angels, which I'll discuss in another post. Anyway... two angels will be the inhabitants and a little Maileg bunny. The inhabitants also need to be able to get around, so I'll see if I can find a car or something. A cute ugly duckling or Beetle seems like a good fit, but I have no idea if that'll work. I can also take a look in our son's trunk... there's bound to be something in there (hey...! That's my car! :)) What I want to do to the house: 
- paint the roof and screws white
- paint the furniture white, put different pillows and duvets on the bed and make a soft sofa
- wallpaper here and there
- small posters and streamers
- rug
- make a nursery
and now get started!
