Pixie elf hat for the Maileg mice DIY

Today I made some simple Pixie hats for the Maileg mice. I thought it would be fun for Famke to play with them during the holidays in her Ikea dollhouse, transformed into a Christmas house.

The Pixie hats are very simple to make. You can sew them with a sewing machine, but they're also very easy to do by hand. In the photos below, you can see how I made them, and at the very bottom of the page, you'll find a link to the pattern (the scanner wasn't working, so I had to improvise...).

I use felt, which is easiest because it doesn't fray and is nice and sturdy. Fold a piece over and place the pattern against the fold.

Cut out all around.

Remove the pattern and pin it back in place.

Sew the right side, the dotted line, in place.

This is what it looks like.

Make a cut on both for the ears.

Turn the whole thing over and your hat is ready.

Here you will find the pattern of the pixie hat for the Maileg mice , good luck!
