Cupboard becomes dollhouse

Last week I received a really lovely order from Gerja of @tikkieretro (Instagram). She ordered some really cute Maileg stuff, and when I saw her plans on Instagram later, I fell in love. She turned a small cabinet into a dollhouse, perfect for the Maileg mice.

This is fantastic! Such a small cabinet doesn't take up much space, but it can play out countless fantasy stories. This is where the magic really begins... and imagine everything that happens even when the doors are closed... ;) Gerja remembered the idea from the blog post about the mini box bed by 'By Woed' on Kinderkamerstylist .

Gerja glued beautiful vintage wallpaper from Swiet into the cabinet, made little flags, and hung up lights. Lighting always creates such a cozy atmosphere in a dollhouse, and it's also very handy if your child wants to relive the day's adventures in the dollhouse before bed. And so cute, the Maileg mice and the Maileg mini bed fit perfectly!

Gerja even made picture frames in the cupboard! She made them from jewelry charms and glued the mice from Skattich packaging into them. At Skattich, we like to package our things in cute little bags, and recently, we've also added the cute paper mouse bags from Maileg.

Personally, I'm really happy with this, and I hope you are too! Perhaps Gerja has given you some fun new ideas. If you'd like to do something with this Maileg mouse paper, just let me know when you order, and I'll include a piece in your package.

Greetings from Gerja and Carolien
