I made a miniature Jupiduu wooden slide for the dollhouse. It turned out really well, and the best part is that no saw was used. I used very thin balsa wood, which you can carefully cut with a sharp knife. It can break during processing, so you have to be patient and not rush things. I wanted to share this DIY with you, so I took pictures and drew a pattern. The pattern is pretty self-explanatory. The pattern is for illustrative purposes only, as you can basically just use it. Use the sides to transfer the lines onto the wood. The rest is best measured and drawn directly on the wood itself.
Necessary:
- 3mm thin balsa wood (available at hobby shops, if you Google it you'll find some results)
- sharp knife
- cutting mat
- fine sandpaper
- wood glue
- white paint
- Jupiduu slide pattern ( click here for the pdf )
Trace the pattern pieces onto the wood and carefully cut them out with the knife. The curves, in particular, must be cut very carefully, otherwise the wood will crack and you'll have to start over (I know from experience... unfortunately...). Sand the edges smooth and glue all the pieces together. I first laid one side piece flat on the table and then glued everything down. Then I carefully glued the second side piece on top. Once it was completely dry, I painted everything white. In the photos below, you can see exactly what it looks like and which pieces are included. Good luck!
If you're going to make the Jupiduu slide, I'd love it if you let me know via the website or on my Instagram (@skattich_speelgoed)

Did it work? 🙂
