This is the beautiful Hudson and Harlow dollhouse. Have you ever seen such a beautiful dollhouse? I had to blink a few times before I realized it was a miniature and not a real house!
Alicia, from the Instagram page Hudson and Harlow, is a home decor stylist and mother of two. Alicia has attempted to partially recreate her own house in miniature. Well, at least her children's rooms. Well, I'm jealous! I think she's done a beautiful job. I've been almost obsessed (well, almost...) with all the miniature houses on Instagram for a long time now, and these kinds, like Alicia's, are especially inspiring. I also look at the interior of my own modern dollhouse and the items for my online shop with the same eye.
Since I started selling dollhouse furniture and accessories in my shop, I've been very active on Instagram. I recently had a lovely chat with another dollhouse enthusiast on Instagram, and she showed me a photo of something she really loved. She said, "I really want to make this exactly!" She inspired me to showcase beautiful dollhouses and write about them on my blog and Instagram feed (@Skattich_speelgoed). I don't want to do this without permission, so for this first post, I contacted Alicia, and she was thrilled that I would write about her house.

The teepee is by Mocka Australia, and the train is by Whimsy Woods. Everything else is by Hudson and Harlow. I also have teepees and trains at Skattich's webshop. My teepees are a bit more romantic, and I'm working on a small white teepee. Nuki-Nuby also has beautiful black and white teepees. And Little Sissy has some really cute black and white items, including lovely wall stickers and flags.
The swan poster is by Schmooksart, the sleepy eyes are by Pretty in Pine, the mosquito net is by Numero 74, and the wooden swan is by Mostly Miniature. The teepee is by Henry and Arlo. If you happen to come across photos of my own dollhouse and think, "Where have I seen this before?" You're right, because I'm absolutely in love with it! So, I'm secretly recreating it a bit...
