Because Maileg mice love to cuddle, I asked Saskia from Studio Mojo if she'd crochet a mini bear for me. She thought it would be a really fun challenge, and she even wrote out the pattern for you. So I can give this one away for free 🙂

Crochet pattern dollhouse mini bear
The bear is about 3 cm tall.
You need:
Crochet hook 2.0 mm
Sock wool or similar
Leftover black and pink for eyes and face
Cartridge:
Legs, body and head
Start with a magic ring
o Round 1: Crochet 4 sc into the ring
o Rounds 2 and 3: 4 sc
Fasten off the first leg.
Crochet another leg in the same way, but fasten this one
not finished. From here you hook the two legs together to
to shape the bodice.
o Round 4: Crochet the 4 sc of the first leg (the leg you fastened off) and then the 4 sc of the
Second leg. You now have a row of 8 stitches.
o Round 5: 8v
o Round 6: (2 sc, 2 sc together)2x (6)
It's fiddly, but fill the legs a little.
From here you will again aim for more positions for the head.
o Round 7: 2 sc in each sc (12)
o Round 8: 1 sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc , rep to end of round (16)
o Round 9: 1 sc, 2 sc together, 1 sc , rep to end of round (12)
Stuff the body and head.
o Round 10: 2 sc together (6)
Fasten off, pull yarn through front loops of stitches from last round and tighten. Work
the wire away.
Arms
Start with a magic ring
o Round 1: Crochet 4 sc into the ring
o Rounds 2 and 3: 4 sc
Ch 2 more (I found 3 rounds too few and 4 too many). Fasten off. Crochet another arm in the same way.
Lightly stuff the arms. Sew the arms to the bear.
Ears
Start with a magic ring
Ch 2, 1htr, 2v into the ring
Fasten off. Crochet another ear in the same way. Sew the ears onto the head.
Embroider eyes and a snout on the head.
