DIY rainbow tutorial

And another blog post 🙂 I found the pictures of my homemade rainbow, so I just have to share them with you.

First of all, I want to say that I'm just making my own...so there are undoubtedly better, prettier, and more practical ways to make a miniature rainbow. I made mine this way, and I'm sharing it with you. Any tips are more than welcome!

Cut the desired number of arcs from the wire. Hold a slightly thicker wire alongside the wire and wrap your rainbow thread around it, as it were.
Try to wrap the thread around it as neatly as possible, so that you no longer see any white.
You do this for all your arches. They get smaller and smaller, so the fiddling gets bigger and bigger.
Once you have the desired number of arches, place them together and sew them together with small stitches. This will essentially become the back of your rainbow.

You can lengthen the sewing thread a bit to create a loop for hanging the rainbow. Now trim the white threads and, if necessary, the wire, and separate the threads a bit. Your mini rainbow is ready.
