I'm so excited about my new project! I'm working on a dollhouse beach house that will have a lovely summery style: bohemian chic, but mainly with white, natural materials, wood, and a touch of gold here and there.
Sometimes I just feel like tackling a new project, and my inspiration for my Scandinavian dollhouse had waned a bit. So when I saw the dollhouse where it all started tucked away in a corner somewhere, I decided to see if I could do something with it. Someone suggested to me on Facebook to turn it into a beach house, so that's what I'm going to do! I created a Pinterest board called "New project: a dollhouse beach house" and pinned things I found interesting and whose style I liked. It turned out I really like the bohemian chic style, which is perfect for a beach house. So I'm getting started, and in the process, I'll be picking up some things for the shop. There will be some bohemian-style items in the selection as well. Oh, and the super cute Aga stove will be in the shop too!
